On October 17, 2024, the National Institute for Child and Family Development (NICFD) at Mahidol University, in partnership with the Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Center, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, hosted a press conference titled "Collaborative Risk Management for Safe Field Trips." Associate Professor Adisak Plitponkarnpim, M.D., Director of NICFD, led the event, emphasizing the importance of raising public awareness among citizens, government agencies, organizations, and communities to improve safety standards, reduce preventable fatalities, and promote best practices for safe field trips.
