Associate Professor Adisak Plitponkarnpim, M.D., Director of the National Institute for Child and Family Development (NICFD), Mahidol University, stated on National Children's Day that children are valuable resources, the future of their families and a vital force in the development of the nation. Consequently, the nation's future depends on the quality of today's children, who must be complete physically, mentally, intellectually, mature in every way commensurate with their age, and possess the skills necessary to live safely in everyday life.
The NICFD and Mahidol University have organized the Market Brain-teaser (Safety Hunter) activities on January 9-11 and 17-18, 2023, to provide school-aged children with the skills to survive safely in daily life. It includes road safety skills, home safety skills, playground safety skills, water safety skills and first aid and basic resuscitation as well as practising skills as little innovators to take care of the elderly at the Safety Hunter Center and Cha la land on the 6th floor, National Institute for Child and Family Development (NICFD), Mahidol University. The event was attended by 400 school-aged children from schools surrounding the university's Salaya campus.
