The National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University, and the Office of The Narcotics Control Board, Ministry of Justice conducted a press conference on May 10, 2023, entitled "Requesting that the new government expedite the development of immunity in early childhood so that children can grow up without using drugs." This press conference presents the results of current drug-related research studies to inform the responsible agencies, including the new government, to recognize the significance of drug prevention in Thai society by educating early childhood to build immunity against all temptations from early childhood. This will enhance protection and decrease risk factors for drug addiction that will occur in children.
