The National Institute for Child and Family Development (NICFD), Mahidol University, organized a workshop titled “Growing Inner Together: From Early Childhood to a Sustainable Society” on 26 November 2025 at the National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to visit and learn from NICFD’s model classrooms:
- Nature-based Learning & EF Development
- Inclusive Classrooms for Healing and Learning
Participants also attended expert lectures on early childhood development and engaged in workshops focused on executive function (EF) skill development, nature-based learning, and social–emotional competencies.
At the press conference, “Classrooms for Inner Growth: Nurturing Early Childhood Toward a Sustainable Society,”
Associate Professor Adisak Plitponkarnpim, M.D., Director of the NICFD, presented integrated approaches to designing learning environments that embed Inner Development Goals (IDG) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). These frameworks aim to establish strong foundations that foster both internal and external growth in young children, empowering them to become capable citizens who will contribute to advancing a sustainable society.
The event concluded with a panel discussion in which experts exchanged insights on designing learning experiences and environments that cultivate “future-ready citizens,” with emphasis on Inclusive Classrooms, Nature-based EF, and CCFR.
