On October 2, 2025, the National Institute for Child and Family Development (NICFD) at Mahidol University celebrated its 28th Anniversary of establishment at the Salaya Campus.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr Ittichote Chuckpaiwong, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment at Mahidol University, together with executives from across the university. They were warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Adisak Plitponkarnpim, M.D., Director of NICFD, and Associate Professor Dr Athiwat Jiawiwatkul, Deputy Director for Planning and Quality Development.
The program included a religious ceremony for blessings, a tribute video in honour of Associate Professor Dr Nittaya Kachapakdee, the founding director of NICFD, a commemorative video presentation entitled “28 Years of Establishment,” and a distinguished seminar series.

The 28th anniversary celebration underscored NICFD’s continued commitment to advancing child and family development through education, research, clinical services, and community engagement, in alignment with Mahidol University’s mission to create knowledge and innovation for the betterment of society.
