โลกเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว นวัตกรรมใหม่ๆเกิดขึ้นเสมอ AI และเครื่องจักรกลมีบทบาทมากขึ้น สิ่งเหล่านี้ส่งผลต่อการดำรงชีวิต ทักษะคิดจะช่วยกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง สร้างแนวคิด หาทางออกและฝึกฝนให้ตนเองอยู่รอดได้ “ทักษะ" เป็นสิ่งที่ต้องสร้างผ่านประสบการณ์ การสอนแบบให้ข้อมูลให้ความรู้อาจจะไม่เพียงพออีกต่อไป การเรียนการสอนจำเป็นต้องขยับให้เร็วทันโลกด้วยการสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้หลากหลายและเติมทักษะที่จำเป็นอยู่ตลอดเวลา คำถามเกิดขึ้นว่า จะมีวิธีการสอนแบบใดบ้างที่ตอบโจทย์นี้?
Design Thinking คือตัวอย่างคำตอบการสอนที่มุ่งเน้นทักษะคิด ทักษะสื่อสาร ทักษะสังคม ในห้องเรียนออนไลน์วิชา Design Thinking ซึ่งผนวกด้วยกระบวนการ Design Thinking การสอนแบบ Active Learning และแนวคิด Community of Inquiry ทำให้ผู้เรียนมีโอกาสในการแสดงออก คิดและลงมือทำ ส่งเสริมการทำงานเป็นทีม การสื่อสารอย่างเปิดกว้าง ส่งเสริมทักษะศตวรรษที่ 21 เช่น การคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ การแก้ปัญหา และส่งผลให้ผู้เรียนเกิดแรงจูงใจในการเรียนและมีส่วนร่วม จากผลดำเนินการ พบว่าวิธีการสอนในรูปแบบนี้สามารถทำได้จริงและมีประสิทธิภาพในรูปแบบออนไลน์เช่นกัน
In the age when the pace of technological innovation continues to accelerate, individuals are challenged to prepare themselves for a rapidly changing world. What the educators can prepare students for life and work best when the landscape of what continues to change potentially forever is the ‘skills’ needed for the future namely 4Cs skills - - critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. ‘Design Thinking’, the online thinking classroom offers students the opportunity to do and to think through the design thinking process combined with active learning approach and the community of inquiry concept. It is an alternative online teaching model that emphasizes class engagement and promotes student motivation in learning. From what had been done with this learning model, it confirms that online teaching and learning for thinking classroom is actionable.
