October 10, is recognizes World Mental Health Day. The theme of 2022’s World Mental Health Day, is “Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority”.

• Mental health issues affect everyone and are present in our daily lives, families, workplaces, and communities.
• The COVID-19 epidemic has sparked a global mental health catastrophe, causing millions of people to experience short- and long-term stress.
• We need to do as much as possible to prevent mental illness, both as individuals and as a society.
• World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general.

How can we celebrate World Mental Health Day?
• Share experiences - sharing your own personal experiences with mental health and hearing about other people’s experiences can really help. It is reassuring that no one is alone and encouraging them to express their feelings.
